Maximum citrus levels of grapefruit, pomelo, citrus peel and – of course – hops, make Citrus Maxima a balanced and refreshing pale ale.

From a 12 oz can in a mixed 12 pack. Pours to a head that in my experience did not retain very well (others have had different experiences) , very golden color. Aroma is a perfect balance of sweet, biscuity grains and citrus. Flavor delivers on the malt, hops and citrus adjuncts, everything coalesces to a tangy, bitter-ish grapefruit finish. Mouthfeel is light and refreshing. Very good stuff.

12 oz. Can
Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice clean/clear dark golden orangy color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger white head, which leaves some nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a nice little citrus complex (orange, tangerine, slight grapefruit). The taste is hoppy, malty, with a nice little citrus complex (orange, tangerine, slight grapefruit). Medium body, ABV hidden nicely, little dry/bitter finish. Overall, a nice thirst quencher.
