It's the slightly darker cousin to Sesion Cerveza, with a toasty sweetness, copper color and the kind of malty aroma you expect from a Mexican lager.

Bottle from Hops & Bottles. Mimicking a Negra Modelo, without improving it. Why bother? Dark amber, malty, frothy head. Thin, weak, dissipates quickly, palate left unscathed. Poor.

Fan of Modelo negro, but at the price of $9.99 a twelve pack,it’s not worth spending the extra on Modelo.Good job Full Sail!

11 oz. Bottle

Poured into a DFH glass a nice translucent golden brown color, nice carbonation, with a nice thick/creamy one-finger off-white head, which leaves minimal sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, caramel. The taste is malty, with some nice sweetness. Medium body, ABV hidden very well. Overall, a nice thirst quencher.

Goes down easier than a cold Coke on a hot day. Mild, browned toast and a hint of corn at the end. Little sulphur in the nose at first, along with a touch of cocoa. Very refreshing and just on the dry side of sweet. Light bodied, but not thin. The character is a bit plain, like I thought regular Sesion was more interesting, but it's pleasant and well made.
