Almost pitch black, clean, and capped by a foamy light tan head that leaves good lacing.
Heavily toasted bread, a pinch of citrus, and a whallop of pine in the finish.
The flavor follows with a large emphasis on roasty and toasty goodness. Big piney finish.
Sharp and bold with a sturdy bitter finish. The roasty qualities seem to intensify this.
An awesome CDA especially given the price point. Definitely recommend. Cheers.

Pours dark brown. Smell is carmel and brown sugar. Taste is light hops, caramel and malt, brown sugar and raisin. A nice blend IPA and carmel.
