Appearance: It pours a decently hazy golden color. The head is only about an inch and then thins out.

Aroma: Banana, clove and some cinnamon. Faint green apple with a very light lemon zest. Hops are about half and half floral and citrus.

Taste: Nice and crisp up front. Lemon zest, banana a little bit of clove and some cinnamon.

Overall: It's decent Hefeweizen to put it simply it's not bad. Cheers.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a hazy orange-yellow color with a one finger head of puffy white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving a touch of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is very big of a banana and clove smell mixed with a whole lot of wheat bread. Along with these smells comes a little bit of a citrus orange smell as well as a touch of hay.
Taste – The taste begins much drier then I would have anticipated, beginning with a drier wheat bread taste mixed with just a hint of banana and caramel sweetness. The banana fades fast, but is replaced by a decent hit of clove and coriander as well as moderate cracker taste. All the while the wheat fades a touch and is replaced by some more caramel as well as some hay and grass, leaving one with a drier and somewhat more malty moderately wheaty taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium to slightly lesser in thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is lower. Overall the feel was pretty good for balancing the more subtle wheat (at least for a hefe) and light sweetness with the other spice and malt flavors.
Overall – At first taste I was not a fan, but as I drank it more I found it more and more balanced and enjoyable. It actually is very easy drinking and pleasantly flavored. It really lives up to the “session” name.
