Dark brown with a large tan head. Well laced. Smell is coffee. Taste is bitter hops with just the right amount of coffee and a light dark chocolate character. IBU's are listed as 41. Very friendly Porter with a chewey mouthfeel. Very tasty. Well recommended for Porter fans. A bit early for the style it will make a fine brew in front of that stone firepace at the ski lodge.
