Pulled this one out of the beer cellar - purchase dated 05/2007.

Pours a clear amber with a foamy frothy head. To be honest the smell is a bit metallic, with the hops coming through as well. Thankfully the metallic elements end at the nose as I don't pick them up in the taste.

The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy, the malt and hops are well balanced, with just a bit of a hop bite toward the end.

Well done full sail, as the previous commenter mentioned, there are a lot of bland reds out there, this is not one of them.

Tasted on-tap 06/04/07 at the Full Sail Riverfront Brewpub in Portland, OR.

Spring 2007 Seaasonal Release in the Brewmaster's Reserve series: "Nugget" Special Red Ale.

Nice amber/mahogany color with a good off-white head and decent lace. A nicely balanced malt and light citrusy hop flavor and aroma. Definitely leans more malty than hoppy to me. Medium-full bodied and smooth.

An impressive American Amber/Red Ale considering the numerous boring interpretations at most brewpubs.
