With summer on the way, lager season approaches. Viva La Lager! We wanted to bring you a lager that could be enjoyed all day and with any meal. While it still has a light flavor profile it's light enough to hold up to whatever summer occasion you have planned. At first sip you're left with a mild sweetness that gives way to some hop bitterness. By your next sip you're enjoying the myriad of flavors from several malts including caramel, roasted barley & corn. By the third sip you're raising your fist to the air and shouting Viva La Lager with us! So here's to that next sip and enjoying a lager filled summer. Don't quit your Daydream.

A: crystal clear; deep amber in color; 1 finger very light tan head that receded to a wispy cap with a moderate tight collar;

S: caramel, toast, sweet malt;

T: follows the nose from start to finish; at times, each flavor takes the lead; mild to moderate bitterness at the end that increases to moderate in the aftertaste;

M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;

O: easy drinking;

Dark amber brown with two fingers of tan foam. Caramel malt with light bread make up the simple aroma bouquet. Taste is simply watery caramel malt and soggy bread, with very very very light earthy hops in the finish. Body is thin but not as watery as the taste, lots of smooth malt textures. Mediocre at best

A: Deep copper with a bright fuego cayenne. Lacks in clarity. Egg shell colored head, full and creamy to start that just lacks duration.

S: Biscuit and sweet toffee cut by a spicy tinged hoppiness.

M: Med-light body. Doesn't shy away from carbonation. Extra-crisp feel. Slightly grainy.

T: Dark sweetness of caramel, and lighter, blonder, breadier notes of a pilsen; the caramel malt definitely provide the foundation for the rest of the flavors, and never truly fades. Herbal hop notes, touch of orange zest. Overall, not the most complex beer with very mild flavors almost like an english dark mild, but with a touch more body and roasted malt. A dry, clean, crisp, and refreshing. Very clean and refreshing which I like.
