Attractive dark brown and mahogany look with ruby bred hues underneath a tan head.
Aroma of caramel and toffee malts and a nuttiness. Earthy hops. Not overly fragrant but it is inviting.
Medium or so mouthfeel.
The taste is mostly sweet with a muted nut note and nan earthy finish. Fairly typical for this style and it is a style I have always enjoyed.
