It is impossible to think of Japan without remembering so many “cute” manga and anime characters. And in Japan, all this cuteness has a name: Kawaii. Moreover, it is a culture that has become a lifestyle with thousands of fans around the world and it is now the inspiration for out beer.
It also means something innocent, pure, but not not necessarily sweet, so we created a Smoothy NE IPA, light bitterness, pinkish color, flavorful, velvety and with a hint of blackberry and raspberry.

Pours with a thin white head. The color is too light to be amber, almost orange-pink. The last bit of the can has cloudy berry-murky goodness in it. It smells a bit like berries, almost sour. The hops are hidden to the nose but up front in the taste. This is the nicest smelling IPA I have ever sniffed. The taste is hoppy and bitter, which is a bit of a surprise based on the smell.
