Nice color in glass. Nose and taste a little thick and sweet. A good NE IPA.

Pours two fingers of soapy white head into my Willi glass. Retention is poor and the head fades within a minute. Initial lacing looks subpar. Body is a light yellow, cloudy, looks like lemonade. Overall the head is pretty unappealing, and this doesn’t look too great so far.
The nose is not dank whatsoever, a little earthy, but mostly there is just significant citrus rind, along with some notes of mango. At first take this seems somewhat light, with mostly just citrus rind, but with agitation there is a candi-like sweetness that pairs with the mango, and that changes the narrative towards smelling more like a serious dessert IPA. At times the sweetness starts to feel almost oxidized in nature, like stale grain. A lot going on here, and I’m not sure I like much of it.
Flavor seems just as all over the place. Some earthy notes, some sweet juicy fruit, sweetness is indeed reminiscent of oxidation, though I don’t think there is any. This doesn’t come together right for me; the sweetness is a little high and kinda gross; and the flavors do not come through clear enough or big enough to make any real noise.
Carbonation is medium-low. Body is medium-high, a little thick for sure. The sweetness is too high, somewhat musty, and it just doesn’t work well. Bitterness is on the lower side. Mouthfeel would be better if it weren’t for the sweetness.
Drinakbiltiy is ok I guess, but the flavor is whatever, and the sugars slow me down.
Appearance turned out poor, zero lacing, head was bad from the start.
Overall there's nothing horrible wrong here, but these flavors just don’t work.
