A: The beer is very hazy pale dark yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that left a thin collar around the edge and some specks of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of caramel and toffee are present in the nose along with notes of candy and pear.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional notes of herbal hops.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has a heavy malt body and smells, tastes and drinks more like an English Barleywine than an IPA. While it does a good job at masking the alcohol from the taste this is still one you would probably want to sip given its maltiness.
