Feels like the type of corporate brewpub you'd find anywhere. Beer wasn't anything special, food was ok but way overpriced. Service was impersonal and felt forced. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing great about it either.

Located in downtown Front Royal in the former Front Royal Brewing space. Follow a short hallway to reach the taproom/restaurant. Kind of a sports bar vibe at the bar as the few other customers were ll watching the TVs. Restaurant looked like a well-worn mom & pop place. Cooler with to go products was availalbe. Freindly enough, but it was fairly quiet when I was there.

Really tucked into a not very busy Main St downtown. Non-descript front entrance. your usual bar to one side and then tables and booths in a long space. Outside seating under an awning. Not sure how much VIBE the place can pull off. Service was great-they had just opened and he was setting up, had only been there a week but had it all covered. Everything I had was great. Was there to sample some non IPAs and was blown away by the Northbound IPA. The Helles was very good and the imperial stout was excellent. Passing thru on the way to Skyline drive-had some fantastic pork belly sliders for a wee snack. Would go back in a heartbeat. Great destination for sure.

Visited here with Da Boss for lunch on 9-20-21.
Vibe was good, classic daytime brewpub with a decent sized bar, maybe 10-12 seats. Dining was inside and outside; maybe seating for 30-50 inside and the same outside.
Quality of the beer was good to very good. The German Pils was very good to excellent; the oatmeal stout was good; and the ipa was very crisp and clean..
Service was extremely friendly but we got lost behind a very large take out order so being visitors i get the drift that local repeat business is more important. But they recognized this and i got the stout gratis for the extra 30 minute wait.
Selection was pretty minimal, solid offerings including two lagers, an ipa, stout, belgian pale ale, english mild, and i think a sour.
Food was very good as i thoroughly enjoyed my corned beef Rubén and da boss enjoyed the chicken Sammy. The sweet potato fries and sour cream sweetened dip were good.
Overall other than the flies the outdoor dining experienced was good on a lovely mid 70's early afternoon in rural Virginia. Definitely check this out if you are visiting Shenandoah NP, the lagers and food are worth the trip!

Vibe is as much a brewpub as a brewery, even though they seem to be going as much for being a production brewery. The beers are quite solid, and they make a decent variety of what I'll say are "not popular" styles - including a couple mild ales. That said, the tap list had just over a half dozen options, all of which I could get in cans back home.
I headed straight to the bar, which could hold a dozen+ people, and there were a few tables in this area. The restaurant area was in back, and seemed a decent size, plus there was seating outside (it seemed covered). Service was friendly, but also a bit distracted - attentiveness was hit or miss. Of course, this was only one experience.
So overall, a quality brewer, in my mind, with a place that I wish had at least a couple location-only brews, though I can't complain about what was offered.

Stopped in for a quick visit. Nice feel to the place, clean and well kept. Mid afternoon and some customers around. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Great selection of brews, including many lagers, including doppelbock. Yum!

Been here twice and had a super time on both occasions. Beer lineup is very nice with some emphasis on German styles. I'm partial to Porters and theirs rocks! Two outside seating areas - nice. Inside is pretty cool as well.

I was there over the summer with my wife and in-laws. The place was so new you could still smell the wet paint drying on the walls. The food was good, but the beer was incredible. They had 8 beers on over the summer, between my father in-law and I we tasted all 8 and I circled back for a pint of the Blazing Paddles. In my opinion, Blazing Paddles is what a summer beer should taste like.
I went by the place the next day pondering if a growler could make the trip from VA to NY without a cooler. I didn't risk it but instead wound up taking a tour of the brewery lead by the brewer himself, Tim Arndt.
I think anyone would enjoy a trip to (and a growler from) Front Royal. Enjoy.

Pave Mint has been our go-to choice for post-hike/ride meals and beers in Front Royal. Now, there's another choice - Front Royal Brewing Co. When we visited in mid-July they were still in soft-opening mode, with the grand opening to follow. We had three of the six beers on tap - Hefe, Stout and Porter. All were good, with the Hefe notable for being the most unfiltered Hefe I can recall. Bartender said more beer choices were coming. Interior is nice with plenty of seating. Air conditioner works. While the address is on Main Street, most of the parking is in the back.
