Single can from Sherbrooke Beer Club.
Pours a clear dark chocolate brown with short lived tan head.
Aroma of roasted malt, brown bread, molasses, caramel, bit of coffee.
Up front tastes of caramel malt, again brown bread, slightly roasty and nutty, mild piney hops and a touch of coffee on back end.
Light to medium bodied - reasonably well carbonated (my biggest beef with this style, not being a fan of flat beers - this one does well) - very drinkable and smooth - caramel and a slight coffee bitterness at the finish.
