Adjunct heavy stout brewed for Alberta Beer Week 2019 - 16 ounce can split two ways.
Pours a deep black with finger of creamy brown head - reddish highlights at edges glass.
Oooof that aroma hits hard - cinnamon and vanilla - a bit of a boozy sweetness - hint of chocolate malt.
Taste follows - malty sugar sweetness with heavy adjunct flavours - cinnamon, sweetened vanilla, sweet coffee - hint of chocolate in back.
Creamy smooth - medium full mouthfeel - some persistent sweet vanilla, cinnamon sugared coffee.
Decent but 8 ounces enough and just a bit too sweet with adjuncts a little too in your face for me.
