Marzo 2022 - On tap at De Morgenster (Utrecht).
Freshly poured tropical aromas (pineapple, papaya), yellow-fleshed fruit (peach, passion fruit) and light citrus (ripe orange, grapefruit).
Discreet and soft foam, it remains to act as a hat to the beer.
In the mouth, super smooth body aided by a lively, but not excessive carbonation.
Predominant and fresh flavors of tropical fruit, especially passion fruit/mango but also citrus, clean dry finish on the tongue, while a nice mix of fruit salad remains on the palate.
I like a more pronounced bitterness more, but for the beer style it's well balanced: non-invasive and which leaves ample room for fruity notes on the palate.
In great shape: you feel it is local and that it has arrived at the pub in excellent condition of freshness.
