Situated in a strip mall, they make good usage of their space. The brewery has a limited number of taps with almost half use for guess breweries. The beers cover a variety of different styles and all the beers I tried were okay.

Beers okay for small local joint, but there are better in the area, atmosphere depressing, and the food should be skipped. Beer selection is okay as they have a representative of the man styles, but none impressive.

Very small establishment in a shopping center on the outskirts of Fairfax City with the feel of a local pub. Sometimes filled to capacity inside, but there is a small outdoor seating area. Beers are uniformly good, often served by brew-masters (the tanks are just behind the bar.) Only six of their own brews on tap at one time, but always a good range of style from dark to light, an IPA, a Saison or Rye, a Stout or Porter. There are a few other local brews available in bottles.
Have not had the food, which is traditional bar fare (pretzels, wings) except for poutine.

(Been a few times now...)
A very small spot with a kitchen that's doing bar food, including a few fried selections, pierogies, and pretzels. The place has about a 4 seat bar next the the register where you order beers. There is no table service, though they will bring your food out to you, and the staff sweeps through to grab empty glasses once in a while.
The ordering process isn't ideal, but the staff are almost always chipper and happy to help. The up-scaled home brewing setup is visible, as is the kitchen. As another review stated, their batches aren't large, and they can run through a beer fairly quickly given how busy the place seems relative to its size in the times I've been there (usually on Fridays).
I've rarely seen more than a half dozen beers on, and I think that may exhaust their tap lines (maybe they have a couple more). They usually have an IPA or two, a brown, and a lighter beer on tap, with the others being random 9i.e. a pumpkin beer my last visit). The beers are mostly ok, but I have also noticed some variances in batches (the most interesting was that their one brown went from 7% to 5.5% between visits a couple months apart). On my first visit, I felt they needed some tightening up, but that hasn't happened much; perhaps the business is too brisk at this point.
I had an order of pierogi on one visit, and they were pretty tasty, but I didn't think that was enough to give a food rating at this time.

Small brewpub on a strip mall....Opened a few weeks ago and had only one of their beers online the rest where guest taps....they are struggling to keep their beers online what is not a bad thing. will have to try again. Looks like they serve some basic pub grub. Small operation.

It's a small brewpub, so go in with that expectation. That said, the beers and food are decent to good, and the owners (who are also going to be pouring your beers) are super cool. A nice addition to the Fairfax beer scene.
