16oz can into a teku. No freshness dating, but a recent pick up at the brewery.
Looks very attractive in the glass. Faintly hazy golden yellow body, a little glassy. Small white head persists as a fat ring and faint covering, though only a little lacing.
Fantastic aroma of plums with a faint floral note.
On tasting, tart and sour plums. Quite drying.
Mouth medium, finish dry, tart, and sour.
Overall, the taste doesn't match the promise of the look and nose. Hard to find any IPA aspect to it. Brewer has it as a sour ipa, BA doesnt have that style yet.
