Sampling a cold 16 oz can poured into my .5Ldimple mug. Can is a gift courtesy of my cousin Joe. thanks man! The beer is a bright golden color as it fills my mug and a fizzy bleached white head of .5 cm foams up but is gone to nothing within a minute or two of emptying the can.
Aroma is a bit of grainy malt and some bready notes with a good bit of spicy hop character as well. Nose is pretty spot on for a pils.
First sip reveals a light to medium body with fine and tingly carbonation. Texture is a little crisp and generally this beer drinks really easy.
Flavor is some bready malt notes with a hint of sweetness and then rolls to spicy hops that linger a bit and the finish dries out on each swallow.
Beer is very drinkable and seems well crafted. Glad to have tried this one, sometime when we are in Johnstown we need to hit this brewery!
