With 1 yo De Troch Lambic.
Golden yellow, slightly opalescent. Beautiful white foam, elegant.
Very good smell, dominated by lambic.
Under that, you can feel light malty notes, honey, spices, pepper.
Fresh taste, the right amount of sourness, vert inviting.
In the aftertaste, after a firt lambic -dominated start, a lot of flavour: saison spices, apricot, pepper, citrussy, orange peel.
Some hint of lemon, litchee, gooseberry.
And a fresh herbal note (mint?), maybe elderflowers?
A very well made blend.
