Just moved over here, and had a nice lunch recently... as well as filled some growlers. Nice place to have a pint or three after work.
- Decent atmosphere... much like a basic strip mall on the outside, and inside is a calm basic bar with booths... slightly rustic lodge theme going on what would look like an Elmers otherwise.
- Quality of the beers are always good.. the food was good, but not great. I had a veggie burger which was as basic as it gets.... and the other foods looked good too.
- Service was good, not great... most the people working there all seem like they are in some deep thinking process.. very calm, quiet... and more like robots. However I noticed brighter smiles from the ladies that work there. The dudes need to lay off the pipe.
- Decent selection... taplist was ok.. would like to see a bigger selection of their brews there... more seasonals.. or other kegs from there other breweries.
- Food is ok... actually very basic pub food. Doesn't stand out... but it beats most anything around in this 'still being developed' part of Vancouver/LaCamas.

This location reminds me a bit of the Lighthouse Pub and Mall 205 locations. Nothing special on the outside and not really a signature property for McMenamins.
The interior is well put together. Good booths, bar, and ambiance. Cool hanging lighting. The beer is good, growler and jar fills to go. Standard selection on tap of the McMenamins ales.
The service is fairly consistent. Not remarkable, but not great. Same goes for the food. It is a bit greasy and can be inconsistent, but there are some good vegetarian options that smooth things out. The tots are amazing. So are the fries.

Dropped by after a lunch hour meeting in nearby Camas. From the outside, this is as unassuming as they come: a strip mall pub near a Chevron, a Starbucks and a Cold Stone Creamery. Inside has the familiar 'comfortable' McMenamins vibe with minimal nods at historic charm (high-backed wooden booths, scattered wood carvings, sculptural iron pickets and decor around the bar). Wrap-around windows provide a view of asphalt parking lots.
Chill folksy music and a relaxing blues/jazz mix piped from the speakers. Decent service - order placed within seconds - presented a pint of the Workingman's Red (spring seasonal: cloudy, pretty tasty) then an Irish Stout (nitro-tap) to pair with a Captain Neon burger (my standby favorite) with tots on the side.
All were fine, nothing spectacular but a better option than the average fast food joint in the office park/suburbia surroundings. Always glad to have a McMenamins pub as an option.
