Pours clear, tan in color with one quarter inch head with sediment. Taste is cedar and dry apple cider. Medium heavy body, medium low carbonation, tart. This is not an English barleywine...maybe a strong ale but it is missing all that is great about the style....no layers of sweetness. The Belgian flavors are off. Tastes like bad home brew. Not worth any premium charged. Borderline drain pour. Ughh what
