I recently had La Leonard an unfiltered Belgian Pale Ale from Brasserie Guillaume in France at Chateau Clos Luce in the Loire Valley. As a side note, this is the castle where Leonardo Da Vinci lived the last few years of his life. Anyway, it wasn't the best Belgian Ale I had, perhaps sweet-sour hint was a little unexpected, but it was pretty good.
Look: dark hazy golden with a thin white head
Aroma: yeast, banana, lemon
Flavor: slightly yeasty, sweet, tart, banana, slight hop bitterness.
Body: light to medium
