Note, I've chosen NEIPA as the style here, but at 4% ABV there's nothing IPA about it. There are no other hazy categories to choose from on BA just now, hence this being the best of a bad bunch of style descriptors for this type of beer.
This beer was received as a gift in August 2022 and drunk shortly thereafter. It was drunk in company, hence the paucity of notes.
L: Archetypal hazy: murky, creamy, yellow colour. No head. No carbonation is evident.
N: Again, an archetypal result, with a huge citrusy, tropical bouquet. There's pineapple and white rum. As far as hazies go, this is outstanding.
T: Hoppy pineapple, tropical and citrus. Very nice.
M: Quite carbonated, much more than evident from eyeballing the beer.
O: Outstanding. Perfectly to style. I don't rate hazies on the hype (well, I try not to), but this seems to have nailed most categories for the style.
Cheers!
