Bottle: Poured a clear copper color ale with a medium size foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt notes with some nice candy-like notes, Taste is also a mix of caramelized malt notes with some nice candy-like notes with some residual sugar notes and a smooth finish. Body is about average with good carbonation and no real discernible alcohol notes. Solid English style barleywine with nice candy-like flavors.

Poured at fridge temp. Pours a nice transparent orange with minimal head. The nose is rich toffee, honey, light brown sugar, light maple, oak, and raisin.

The taste is wonderful. On the sweeter side, but nowhere near too sweet. Caramel, honey, apricot, raisin, figs, and some of that French oak seems to come through. Insanely smooth beer.
