This Bock is extremely drinkable and fresh thanks to its long lager time. The aroma is rich with caramel and raisony, fruity goodness! The flavor is crisp, and malty, but not too sweet, with a perfectly balanced bitterness.

Pours reddish brown with a bubbly, pockmarked head of foam that quickly dissipates. Aroma is smoky, roasted grain. Taste is exactly similar to the aroma. Nothing terribly surprising here. Move along.

L-Nice clean, clear burgundy color
S-Dark bread crusts..
T-Nice bready melanoidins and toasty malts...caramel..
F-Medium bodied...rich and sweet but not cloying..
O-Excellent bock that hits all the right notes. I've seen this listed at 5.5% and also 6.0%...seems more like 6.0%. Whatever the case it's a well made bock which is somewhat hard to find these days.

Pours a dense light mahogany color with a light tan head. Smell is malt dark fruit baked bread and citrus. Taste follows nose baked bread ,dark fruits lemon citrus and baked bread. Mouth feel is sweet and hoppy with caramel malts balance. Very good.
