Looks fantastic in a spieglau ipa glass at the brewery, dense and hazy, somewhere between yellow, orange, and gold, with a finger of tight little foam and some nice lacing. Nose is great: tropical notes. Taste is a little too heavy and overripe, for me, with too little bitterness. A little mint or some other green herbal note at the end, that pairs with the tropical fruit. Mouthful matches the taste…a little watery and malty, neither a zippy edge, nor a pillowy soft mouthful.

A - Pours out super hazy orange, translucent but not transparent, with a white head that fades to a medium cap. Lots and lots of thick lacing, with tiny pinprick bubbles and lines higher on the glass.
S - Strong hit of juicy orange citrus flesh, a bit of pith and zest, a mint and pine thread beneath.
T - Follows the nose, with a big, blooming flavor of orange and tangerine, a middle that brings peach, apricot and mango accents, and a pith bitter thread mingling with subtle mint hop notes in the finish.
M - Moderate weight, a bit taxing on the tongue over time is the only knock. I don't know that I could drink more than one at a time, but it is satisfying nevertheless.
O - If I see this again, I will buy it - it is a delicious hazy with great IPA notes that make it both satisfying and a rich drinking experience.

I am trying this beer off the tapper as part of a four sample flight whilst traveling through on my way up to Dryden for my son's exhibition SIJHL hockey games. The beer is very good with bright apricot and mango notes and presence.

On tap. The faintest cloudiness here. Yellow golden color. Not a hazy. White head with lace.
Lemon, some sweetness, melon, touch of honeydew, not really sure what’s going on with the sweetness. Just doesn’t taste like a hazy.

Pours a clear yellow/amber with a tall off-white head that grows. Super citrusy upfront with a slight malt backbone. Follows the nose, mainly citrus. Somewhat thin, high carbonation, crisp. An OK hazy IPA.
