Agate Hunter pours a cloudy red with a small head. The aroma has notes of cherry and boysenberry: sweet sugary flavor, lots of cherry and notes of boysenberry. Good feel.

A - Clear, dark ruby body, short pinkish-white head, fading quickly to nothing. No lacing to speak of.
S - Muddled fruit notes, berry and cherry as promised, with a strong yogurt aspect.
T - Follows the nose, but with more sour fruit notes out front, some sweetness comes forward through the middle, then the yogurt comes in through the middle and finish.
M - Moderate weight, given the ABV, and tart, dry finish. The sourness scrubs the tongue, and just a bit of a build through the glass.
O - This is an interesting drink, with a lovely balance that produces something far easier on the tongue than the tartness and ABV should deliver. Enjoyable, if not an everyday thing.

Pours a brilliant, red with a quickly dissipating two finger head. Aroma is strongly cherry. Taste is light, crisp, clean with a greater taste of boysenberry and less so on the cherry. The brew is tart but not overly so. Cold, this is refreshing.
