From a 4 pack, 16 oz can. Ursa Minor is my favorite brewery in Duluth, and it's been a while...

Pours a copper colour, beautiful head that fades quickly, leaving a thin ring of foam. Taste is malty, but has some citrus in the finish, which slightly detracts. Overall good.

L-Deep copper color...ok clarity

S-A bit of toffee...toasted malt...

T-Malty with toffee and toasted malt impressions....nice flavor to this..

F-Medium bodied...rich but a light drying hop finish keep things balanced.

O-Very solid Oktoberfest here. Maybe a little off true style but enjoyable. I kind of like a toffeeish malt accenting the toasted malts and this has that..

I am trying this beer off the tapper as part of a four sample flight whilst traveling through on my way up to Dryden for my son's exhibition SIJHL hockey games. The beer is very good and typical of most marzens.

Beautiful copper colored pouring beer that's nice and clear. Thick 3 finger off white colored head. The head retention is great. There's some lacing on the glass.
Lots of roasted caramel malt on the nose. Very pleasing.
The flavor starts off with the roasted caramel that I was getting in the nose. The malts linger throughout and are joined on the back with a pleasing bitterness.
Decent body. Slightly bubbly feeling.
Quite tasty overall.

Can. Clear golden color. Pretty solid festbier. Honey crackers, biscuits, toffee, marble rye bread. Earthy, zesty, spicy hops. Smooth and flavorful. Dry finish.

Appearance: Pours a completely clear, medium to deep amber color with a strong off white head. SRM of 15. (3.75)

Aroma: Mild aromas of brown bread, sweet bread, caramel malt. (3.50)

Flavor: Moderate to light lfaovrs of brown bread, smooth bread bread malt, some caramel. Leans sweet. (3.50)

Feel: Medium to heavier bodied, lower carbonation. Finishes smooth, sweet, slightly sticky. (3.50)

Compared to Omni Oktoberfest 9/19/22: Pours similar appearance, milder aromas. More sweet caramel malt. Less toasted bread crust and grains. Sweeter, heavier.

Compared to Schells Oktoberfest 9/19/22: Pours darker, milder aromas. More sweet amber and caramel malt. Less smooth bread malt. Darker and sweeter.

Overall: An okay Oktoberfest here. It has some sweet amber malt, caramel, but that's about it. Mild flavors, lower carbonation, and leans too malty and sweet overall. (Rating: 3.47)

Pours a clear copper color with a khaki head . Smell has caramel,baked bread and some dark fruits . Taste has citrus and floral hops ,with caramel and baked bread pale malts . A sweet and malty mouth feel with some citrus in finish.
