Very enjoyable beer....leans more towards a traditional vienna in my opinion than the Mexican style as it carries a real nice toasted maltiness on the flavor and aroma. Baked breads with hints of caramel as well....good body...4.8% but feels a touch fuller bodied than you'd guess from that ABV..still, easy drinking and clean....excellent job on this one..great clarity with a light amber color..

From a 16oz can. Canned on 04/09/2024
This beer is fairly clear pouring and amber in color. A bit of carbonation bubbles rise in the glass. The head is an off white color and 2 finger. The head retention is decent, and there's some damn nice looking lacing on the glass.
Aroma - There's a ton of caramel on the nose from the malts. I also get a ton of grain and cereal in here. Not sure why they call it a Mexican style from the nose.
Taste - The flavor is malty. There's a good hit of caramel in here. Good grain bill. Grain flavor. Again, why do they call it a Mexican Amber? There's no heat or spice that might be in the ballpark.
The body is bubbly and crisp. No heat or spice.
Ok, this beer does taste good, and I'd buy it again. The problem is why do they call it a Mexican Amber? There's nothing that would indicate that it is. There's no heat or spice that might be in that ballpark. Maybe I'm off the mark here. It wouldn't be the first time.

16oz can. There is a stamp on the bottom that reads 'CANNED ON 04/09/24', six months in the can.
Clear, deep amber colored body. Voluminous taupe colored head, which subsides to a frothy cap and ring.
Aroma of toasted caramel malts, a touch of lemon, and a bit of molasses.
Taste is sweet, with medium toasted malts yielding flavors of caramel, dark bread, with a floral note and also lemon. Vanilla malt in the aftertaste.
More than medium mouthfeel. Smooth to imbibe, but the expression lingers. Has a kind level of bitterness. Very good carbonation.
Fits in the Vienna Lager style.

Pours a mostly clear copper color with a thin khaki head. Smell is malts dark fruits citrus baked bread. Taste follows nose with citrus and dark fruits ,like a Vienna Lager, baked bread cracker meal and malts in finish . Mouth feel sweet with caramel malts hoppy with citrus , Thought this was more a Vienna Lager .
