A - Pours an opaque black body, just a hint of brown, with a light tan head that fades to a fairly complete, thin cap across the top. Not much lacing.
S - Dark fruit and roasted malts, chocolate and toasted bread notes.
T - Following the nose, an open of chocolate and coffee aspects, a middle brings malty bread with a bit of coffee acidity and toasted sharpness. The finish is a quick fade of that bitter note, riding into a lingering quiet chocolate sweetness that takes a minute or two to release.
M - Fairly light body for the ABV, a bit of slickness, with mild carbonation scrubbing the tongue.
O - A nicely built stout, quite tasty, and pretty easily drinkable. Not a lot of depth, but quite serviceable nevertheless.

Pours a dark chocolate brown, with a delightful three finger head. Aroma is dark chocolate, mint and roasted malt. Taste is dark chocolate with some mint. The mint is, unfortunately, subdued here and I think could have made a really nice compliment to the chocolate. As is, the brew is nicely full bodied and satisfying. Well done.

16oz can. Devoid of any canning date information.
Dark brown body, with mahogany brown back lit edge. Beige colored head dissipates to some active surface activity and a thin ring. Lacing left behind is just a few scattered spots.
Aroma is relatively non-descript, with some generic roasted malts, and the briefest whiff of chocolate.
Taste is more evocative but average, with roasted malts, run of the mill chocolate, and a drying effect at the end. Has some caramel/molasses/vanilla flavor but also some bitterness at the end and into the aftertaste.
Thinner than medium mouth feel. Quite drying with each sip. Lower carbonation.
Looking for a drying experience stout with some chocolate, and a semisweet expression, this beer is it.

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of roasted malt, molasses, chocolate and toffee. It tasted of chocolate, roasted malt, coffee and sweet caramel.
