16 oz can filled 7/16/24 purchased & poured 7/25/24 into a Kolsch glass.
L: SRM 3.5 Pours clear golden caramel with light steady carbonation, a 1/4" white head that recedes to edge froth, basically no lacing.
S: Grains, distant fruit, a very light grape note, subtle pear.
T: Fruity, zesty, some resin that is rather bitter, pear, grapefruit zest, lime zest, white grape skin, a very light and distant bread note esp in the finish.
F: Crisp, clean fast, and dry.
O: This Kolsch does lean Ale and has ample bitterness. Great feel and very good tasting. Fruity overall. I sort of miss bready and metallic notes that are common. It is good in its style.
