With Gedney Farm Pumpkin, we worked with a couple local places to create this dark beauty. Gedney Farm roasted pumpkins from Freund's Farm on their outdoor grill with master chef Ryan McLaughlin. This stout breaks the rules on pumpkin as its presentation is subtle, with notes instead of hammers on your palate. This beer has a wonderful mouth-feel, it gives rich dark chocolate cake flavors, and the effervescence presentation in nitrogen that will wow all five senses, and even please the staunchest of doubters. We think you'll agree it is one of our finest creations!

Poured at the brewery into a stemmed snifter glass from the keg. Small head, caramel colored, with good lacing. The body of the beer is black. This stout has been cold brewed with nitro for that wonderfully creamy texture, which seems to mask the high abv. The aroma is of chocolate and caramel, some smoke. This is such an easy drinking for an imperial! I will have another on my next visit to the taproom.
