Umber with hickory type of highlights. Rather clear, not too daunting.
Smoky sweetness like honey almonds. Unique sort of prune jam and roasted wood.
Feel is smooth and velvety with characteristic med-full body, but lacks a certain level of chewiness. Nice alcohol presence.
Moderate-high amount of leather, char, oak and tobacco. Lighter amount of fig filled licorice sticks, toasted bread, floral (wildflower honey?) citrus and green hops, grain warmth and unsweetened chocolate. Eschews darker fruit sweetness for honey balanced sweetness with the oak-cured tobacco. Smooth bourbon notes.
