On draught. It pours a murky copper color that resembles ice tea, with a foamy, egg shell colored head and thin sheen of lacing. The nose features sweet malt, peach, orange peel, caramel, and coriander seed. It drinks more like a Belgian Ale than a Witbier which is surprising given that Lela brews a Belgian Ale already. It's quite sweet with tastes of cherry, banana, bubblegum, caramel, and coriander, with a spicy, peppery finish. The mouth feel is somewhat thin for the taste profile. It has moderate, pleasant carbonation and its 5.4% AVB is surprisingly potent. Overall, while I found this offering unusual for a Witbier in its color and flavor profile, I enjoyed it.
