Glistening dark brown body with ruby highlights, covered with a large, thick head like cappuccino foam, with excellent retention.
Very low aroma, of bitter roast malt, a bit tinny.
Flavour is of bitter espresso, but also flat, and feeling biting and sharp; getting a sense of sparkling mineral water; wisps of chocolate; hop bitterness is fairly prominent in the finish, of resin and pith. Medium body and medium-high, prickly carbonation.
Not enjoying the flavour on this one, flat and bordering on metallic, and the feel doesn't do any favours. Skip it.
