Crystal clear ruby brown color. Modest head that ultimately settles to film and rim bubbles. No lace.
Drier semisweet chocolate aroma with a touch of coffee with cream.
Relatively dry with a bit more coffee to the taste. The chocolate is also darker but not quite to the Baker’s level. The finish while bitter, isn’t as strong as a Porter or Stout. The body is likewise thinner reflecting the lager nature. The finish and aftertaste is an extension of the same.
