SaltFire is putting out solid beer most I have enjoyed. This a Galaxy hop version of the IPA series they are doing with different single hops. The last galaxy hops beer I drank was an American Pale Ale, this one is an IPA. The beer is 46 degrees and served in a pint glass. The pour of the beer produced a one finger bright white head. The head is creamy and foamy with above average retention. The head dissipated slowly leaving minimal lacing. The color of the beer is SRM 4 a pale gold color with straw hues. The clarity of the beer is brilliant. I was sad to see the head with poor head retention.

The aromas in the beer are pineapple, peaches, passionfruit, grassy, lightly toasted malts, grassy, herbal, cracker, honey-like sweetness, mandarins, oranges, grapefruit, and lemons.

The flavors in the beer are pineapple, peaches, passionfruit, grassy, lightly toasted malts, grassy, herbal, cracker, floral esters, bay leaves, lemons, pine, oranges, phenols, and grapefruit.

The body of the beer is medium-light, medium carbonation, and a medium finish.

I want more of the galaxy hop flavor profile. The last beer was bursting with galaxy hops and Citra this one is good but not fantastic. This beer is a fruit bomb with a smattering of other yummy hop qualities. I am enjoying drinking this beer and very glad I got to drink it.
