The bottle date on this beer is 1/17/19. I have not heard much about this variety of hops. Reading about these hops they are just a variant of Saaz. I am stoked to try this single varietal IPA. The beer is 45 degrees and served in a pint glass. The pour on the beer produced a two finger bright white head. The head is creamy and foamy with excellent retention. The beer dissipated slowly and left heavy lacing on the glass. The color the beer is SRM 4 a pale straw with amber hues. The beer's clarity is clear with minimal effervescences.

The initial aroma in the beer is a malty sweetness and grassy. Next, I smell mango, pineapple, pine, resin, rosemary, grapefruit, blueberries, crackers, and toasted malts.

The flavors in the beer are subtle blueberries, grassy, cereal, blueberries, crackers, basil, pineapple, lemon zest, resious, grapefruit, toasted malts, crackers, and floral esters.

The mouthfeel of the beer is crisp and astringent.

The body of the beer is medium, medium-low carbonation, and full finish.

I enjoy the flavors of these hops. The IPA has a firm malt backbone with juicy ripe hops. The hops explode on the palate giving excellent hop characters. I loved the blueberry note I perceive. However, the beer does not have blueberries being a part of the recipe. The beer is wonderful.
