Our NEIPA line of beer styles dare to explore the more exotic hops of both east, west and even so far west we're east again. Bigger In Japan takes things a step further, leaving an imprint so big you might mistake it for a crater. This style has lip quivering juiciness, giving way to alarm bells of tropical fruit like tangerine and berries with a smidge of herbal and pine notes. Get ready to meet this beer of destruction! DOUBLE NEIPA!

I already drank Big in Japan: that beer was fantastic. I want this beer to be as good, if not better. The beer is 44 degrees and served in a pint glass. The pour formed a two-fingered head. Excellent retention on the bright white head, and it left a uniformed lacing on the glass. The foam from the head created even bubbles and is frothy and airy. The color is SRM 6, deep gold with amber hues. The beer is slightly hazy with some activity. The appearance of the beer is beautiful.
Initial aromas in the beer are pine, grapefruit, resin, oranges, and pineapple. Next, I smell toasted malts, biscuit, crackers, and herbal. Lastly, I detect floral esters, band-aides, and fresh dew.
I taste malty sweetness, grapefruit, resin, oranges, pineapple, toasted malts, crackers, bay leaves, floral esters, a touch of a dank, musty basement, mango, and cut grass.
The mouthfeel of the beer is astringent, dry, and carbonated.
The body of the beer is medium-plus, medium-plus carbonation, and full finish.
This beer has a strong malt back to hold up to the hop onslaught. This beer is excellent. I enjoyed drinking this beer.
