Clear golden brew with plenty of foam in the wine glass. Rather sweet and I swear it tastes like blueberry syrup. Very odd aromatics. Sugary tasting but not alarmingly sweet . After some sips the citrus taste comes out but that disturbing nose remains. It's almost a chemical smell, not anything I associate with hops. Maybe even a touch of sanitizer. From the 16 oz can purchased at the brewpub on West Temple.

On my way home, I enjoy stopping and seeing what they have. I did some shopping and then headed home. This is one that I still need to review. Using a tulip glass, I served the beer at around 44 degrees. The pour created a frothy, creamy, bright white one-fingered head with excellent retention. The slow dissipation left little lacing on the glass, collecting into a ring around the liquid. Looking at the beer and determining the color, I chart the color around SRM 6, pale gold with light amber hues. The clarity is clear with some carbonation. The overall apperance is above average. 4.5
Nosing the glass, I smell bread, oranges, pine, lemons, floral, herbal, cereal grains, grassy, light phenols, malty sweetness, and light tropical notes.
The flavors are peaches, oranges, resins, lemons, phenols, cereal grains, grassy, phenolic, malty, earthiness, malty sweetness, bready, and light tropical ( hard to discern what exactly).
The mouthfeel is light, crisp, and slightly astringent, finishing smooth. The body is medium and low carbonation.
The hops profile in the beer could be more robust from SaltFire. This mellower, resembling Pale Ale, has a smooth, crisp finish. I prefer a brighter hop profile. It is refreshing for
