Name: Mobius Trip - Blueberry
Brewery: SaltFire Brewing
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Style: Fruited Sour
ABV: 8%
Canned: No package date,
Date: 04 December 2025
I have consumed several of these Mobius-Trips; each one is different. This one is a sour. I am using a tulip glass and serving it at 44 degrees. The pour created a white, one-fingered, airy head with poor retention. The color is where this beer is weird; it looks like ditch water. The beer is semi-transparent. The appearance is average for a sour; they come in a wide range of colors.
Nosing the glass, I smell acetic acid, light toasted malts, oak, fruity sweetness, and earthiness. The beer has a muted aroma except for the sourness.
Sipping glass, lemons, lightly toasted malts, oaky, fruity sweetness, earthiness, light floral, and a bit grassy.
The mouthfeel is mouthpuckering, finishing dry. The body is light, with medium-plus carbonation.
Final Thought: I have tried several of these Mobius Trips, and this one has the most unique color thus far. The beer is packed with mouth-puckering sourness and subtle fruity sweetness. I can not tell if this is blueberries or not. Overall, another solid offering from SaltFire.
