Bottle of 300 ml at home, poured into a tulip glass. ABV 2.5%
Very thin head, maybe half a finger, beige in colour. It goes off quite fast also.Colour of the beer itself is very dark brown, only when hold against the light takes some amber hues, very dark, again. The head has now gone almost completely, some of it lingers around the glass and a big island of foam has now formed on the surface of the beer.
Roasted malts on the aroma, very strong, it makes it smell like dark chocolate, quite pleasant.
Taste is sweet, and as with most of the Oud Bruins I have tried, there is a metalic aftertaste. Some notes of the roasted malts are being found on the taste too.
Light on the body, with very low carbonation, which in combination with the low alcohol makes it very drinkable, although I find it too "light", some more carbonation would be welcomed.
Overall, a modest one in the genre.

Ingredients: Water, barley, corn, sugar, hops, pigment: E150c. This is not promising.

Appearance: Very, dark brown; very little carbonation; small brownish head that dies down quickly; little lacing.

Smell: Disappointingly fade; little malt, minimal hops; a bit metallic; I for one taste no fruit.

Taste: Watery caramel; minimal malt; no hops; reminiscent of cola drink, just (fortunately) a bit less sweet; absence of alcohol.

Mouthfeel: The worst part of drinking this beer: too light, too watery; very little carbonation; lacking in dryness; like a soda, only a soda feels better thanks to its abundant CO2.

Drinkability: With 2,5% ABV it is as drinkable as a cola that has lost its gas - i.e., not really drinkable.

This was my first oud bruin. I don't know the style, but I can tell a good belgian beer from a bad one. And this is not very good.

Pours brown-black with ruby highlights, trailers and speckles. Sweet bark and earthy malt on the nose. Very sweet brown sugar up front, bright berries, kola and black cherries, with a mild late herbal slightly cinnamon hops hit. No finish. Sweetly drying, like cola, leaves you thirsty. Medium, sticky, cloying.

Cola! Not good as a bruin or a mild. Good if you wanted alcoholic soda pop in a restaurant or something, but almost not a beer.
