A collaboration between 4 Origines and Cacao70
This beer is about cacao. In the process of creating chocolate, much is transformed from the original cacao bean. So we teamed up with Cacao70 to salvage some lost components of the bean, infuse its heavenly scent and flavor into our process and brew a cacao-rich porter!

A:
It pours clear black, ruby highlights in the light with a one-inch tan head that drops to a film. Ok retention; droopy arches of lacing. (4)
S:
Chocolate, sweet roasty spice, cinnamon-brown sugar, moderate fruity esters, a touch vegetal as it comes to room temp. (3.75)
T:
Chocolate, red fruit, nutty, lightly roasty. (3.75)
M:
Medium body, a little dry, almost-fizzy carbonation, fruity-floral finish. (4)
O:
This is a nice porter.
It pours clear ruby-black with a nice creamy tan head. The nose is inviting with straightforward chocolate, fruity notes and general sweet mocha-ness. Flavor follows. It is choclatey and sweet with fruity English yeast underneath. It is pretty light and easy to drink. No detectable alcohol. Nice beer that showcases chocolate flavors without tasting like a candy bar. (4)
