★★★

Pours cloudy yellow with a little white head that settles to a ring. No lacing. The aroma is predominately clove, vanilla, and a little wheat-citrus twang. The flavor is similar but a little more earthy and varied. Dried citrus, clove, pepper, sweetroll dough. It is slightly creamy feeling with soft carbonation and a lingering earthy, spicy finish with a hint of tartness and some herbal spiciness. The feel is the real star of the show and the finish is mainly where any gin botanicals come through in a pleasant way that is not overpowering. Not bad at all.
