Pitch black body, thick brown collar. Getting in the nose charred earth, big bourbon barrels sporting accents of molasses, toasty oak, vanillins, and a hint of raisin, with dark chocolate and roasted malt at the base. Taste is much the same: maybe a touch of vanilla and definitely more roasted malt, less vanillin. Feel is barrel driven and rugged but I actually want it to be a bit heavier to truly grasp the massive vision

Appearance: Arrives pitch black with a thin tan film; leggy, with a few spots

Smell: Rich Bourbon tones with dark chocolate, tobacco and a hint of vanilla

Taste: The Bourbon barrels make a statement at the outset, bringing a strong oak, tobacco and vanilla impression that is quickly joined by dark chocolate; a hint of fruit and honey, in the middle, with the Bourbon driving home the finish

Mouthfeel: Full bodied with low carbonation; warmth in the gullet

Overall: Just outstanding, with a lot of complexity from the time it spent in the barrels
