Pours a dark reddish brown, a little tan head. Smells like bourbon, brandy, cinnamon and alcohol. First taste and BOOM! the peppers hit you, it is spicy with apple brandy, bourbon barrel and some sugar/cinnamon. A little sweet but it works. Warning to those who don’t like spice because it does have a little heat but I liked it for the same reason, cheers!

Appearance: Arrives pitch black with a thin tan head; decent retention with spots of foam clinging
Smell: Cinnamon and Habanero tones stand out with the chocolate and dark dried fruit supporting
Taste: The Habanero chile flavors are powerful, jutting forward along with the cinnamon; underneath the chocolate and dark fruit flavors round out the profile; boozy finish
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with low to moderate carbonation; warmth in the gullet
Overall: This is a nice "Mexican" stout but there is just a bit too much cinnamon for my palate
