Pours a syrupy dark brown with ample tan head. Smells of citrusy hops and alcohol. The taste is divine; chocolate, orange, some coconut, dark malts, a little bitterness but smooth and drinkable. An awesome beer from Winston and I’m glad I made the trade to get some of this, cheers!

Appearance: Arrives midnight brown color with a thin tan head; streaks of lacing linger
Smell: Chocolate malt dominates with hints of orange and citrus pith
Taste: Chocolate forward with citrusy bitterness building; rather pithy, after the swallow, with just a hint of coconut in the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation
Overall: One of those rare Black IPAs that really works well; the orange and the pith add a nice balance to the chocolate and the coconut provides a hint of dessert
