Appearance: Pours espresso colored with a one finger tan head that fades to a chunky ringlet; clumps of lacing hang around
Smell: Black bread, caramel, cherry wood and chocolate embraced by Bourbon barrel and vanilla tones
Taste: The Bourbon makes an impact at the outset, blending with the cherry wood, chocolate, black bread and caramel tones; in the mid-palate, the Bourbon continues to build, bringing the vanilla flavors along and some heat in the finish
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with moderate carbonation; warmth in the gullet
Overall: This series brings out both Incendiary's skill with barrels as well as their creativity in producing a twist on the Barleywine style
