Appearance: Pours midnight brown with a tan film that appears and disappears with alacrity; leggy but no lacing
Smell: The Sazarac Rye is distinctive in the aroma, with chocolate fudge and vanilla tones
Taste: The chocolate and Sazarac mingle, up front, with the vanilla emerging; the elements merge in the finish, which is rather boozy
Mouthfeel: Thick bodied with low carbonation
Overall: I like what the Sazarac brings here but the vanilla is a bit much for my palate; I would love to see what this would taste like without any adjuncts
