Appearance: Pours fudge colored with a tan film that emerges and fades to a collar; leggy with speckles
Smell: The fruit aromas are intense, with black currant, cranberry and cherry being joined by almond tones; the Rum is subtle and pineapple adjacent
Taste: The fruit flavors dominate here, with black currant, cranberry and cherry jutting forward as was anticipated in the aroma; the Rum complements, bringing the pineapple with it; the almond aspect doesn't really emerge until the finish
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with low to moderate carbonation
Overall: There is so much fruit here that the chocolate stout flavors are smothered; I would have preferred to have more chocolate and a bigger mouthfeel but there is a lot to like
